A Shared Commitment.
An intrinsic part of the Association’s success is its partnerships and collaborations with various agencies, organizations, and universities that share our commitment to effective Part C implementation and improvement.
For example, agency partners include the U.S. Department of Education and the Maternal and Child Health Branch of the Department of Health and Human Services.
Similarly, example organization collaborations include the Federation for Children with Special Needs, Zero to Three, and the National Association for Directors of Special Education. This collaboration focuses on different areas such as policy development, training, and technical assistance.
University partnerships include the University of Connecticut, the University of North Carolina, and multiple research projects exploring the best practices for early intervention services.
